ALMA 17 L treadle feeder.

17 L treadle feeder made of 1 mm thick galvanised sheet metal, designed to avoid any waste of feed. Only when the animal steps on the pedal does the tilting mechanism open, giving access to the feed. In addition, the grid in the feeder prevents the animals from throwing the feed on the ground, the level of which can be adjusted as needed.

The feeder is pre-assembled: only the pedal and feet need to be mounted in a few simple steps. The pedal has 6 weight adjustments to open the tilt, from 0.25 to 2kg. The feet serve to avoid direct contact of the trough with the ground, preventing oxidation of the metal which would shorten the life of the product.

As well as being waste-proof, this feeder prevents other birds, mice or similar animals from eating the poultry feed and bringing disease. The feed is also protected from rain, and two animals can eat at the same time.
